
Prime Numbers
Factors:-An exact divisor of a number is called Factor.
E.G. 1 and 5 are exact divisors of 5 so 5 is a factor of 1 and 5.
Multiples:- If any Number is completely Divisible by a number b then b is a multiple of that Number.
E.G. 10 is completely divisible by 2 then 10 is a multiple of 2.
Prime Numbers:- The numbers having exactly two factors is called Prime Numbers.
E.G. 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19- ----- infinite
Properties of Prime Number:-
1. Every Prime Number has 2 factors.
2. 1 is not a prime.
3.The Smallest Prime Number is 2.
4.Every prime Number is odd except 2.
5.There are Infinite Prime Numbers.
6. We cannot find largest Prime Number.
7. There are 25 prime Numbers between 1 to 100.
